I’m Ramon Frankfort, lawyer, trustee and mediator at griph

Ramon advises and litigates on corporate and bankruptcy law. He assists companies in private equity & venture capital transactions, acquisitions and restructuring. He has clients from all walks of life, with an emphasis on manufacturing, trade and new media. Ramon is regularly appointed trustee in bankruptcies. He has been an attorney since 1996, barring a brief foray into business. He studied in Utrecht and subsequently followed the INSOLAD/Grotius specialization course in Insolvency Law (cum laude) and the Grotius specialization course in Corporate Law. Ramon is also a mediator, focusing mainly on business conflicts and conflicts related to insolvencies. He is registered in the MfN register.  Ramon has followed the Professional Training for Legal Mediator at the ADR Institute in Amsterdam.  Examples include disputes between:

• shareholders, directors and other stakeholders;
• Partners in a partnership or general partnership;
• organs within an association or foundation;
• Between business partners.

He is a member of the INSOLAD Association, the Corporate Litigation Association, the Dutch Association for Comparative International Insolvency Law (NVRII), Insol International, the Dutch Association of Mediation Lawyers (NVVMA), the Business Mediation Platform and the Dutch Turnaround Association. He is a member of the board of the NVVMA. Areas of law Ramon Frankfort has registered the following areas of law in the Register of Legal Entities of the Netherlands Bar Association: - Insolvency law; - Business law. This registration obliges Ramon to obtain ten training points each calendar year in each registered area of law in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
